Prayer - Emergency!

Postby Sylvia49 » Wed Jul 28, 2010 12:06 am

Hi, JC!

Yes, all seems OK now.

Thank you for your prayers for Josh. I need them, too.

I will be going to see my dr for what seems to be the symptoms of Celiac, also. Have been planning this for some time, but Josh's situation but a fire under my tush.

Am going to see my grandbaby in Reno. I'll just be 2 hours away from Sacramento, if Josh want's to see me, or if something happens. Please pray for a safe trip, also. We're using our 2-dr Escort with 3 people. Twelve hours on the road to get to Reno, changing drivers ever so often.
It's gonna be crowded - Carl's 6'5", I'm 5'8', and our friend is 5'8".

Our friend is mainly coming along in case something happens - if I need help with Carl, or Carl needs help with me. 'Course we're there if something would happen to our friend, lol. I'm trying to keep my attitude light, and in the Lord. But we're also supposed to use our brains.

Thanks to all of you for your prayers...please continue.

GBU,

Sylvia *Whistle* *Pray*

hi sylvia
so josh didn't have brain and may just be celiac? Not saying it as just celiac but that is managable as compared to brain tumor. Know someone who overcame with diet and vitamin suppliments.

Safe trip and quick healing for you both

They tested Josh today for Celiac and Lymphoma - both came back negative - PTL! *angelbounce* *laughter*

They are doing the biopsy on his 2 three-inch brain tumors tomorrow. They thought Celiac, leading to Lymphoma, might have caused them, so they wanted to rule that out first.

Thank you, all, and please pray for tomorrow.

Hi, all!

I got to see my son last night about 10pm our time. He greeted me with a big hug, and said, "You're my Mom. You have a right to be here!" And he want's to take me to lunch on Mon! That, alone, is a result of your prayers, as we have been estranged.

The biopsy was performed yesterday. Won't know results until 6-8 days.
We'll have to go home on Mon. We're trying to figure out how to get back to Sacramento in about 2 weeks when he will definately have surgery to remove the tumors. Actually, it's a 6" tumor shaped in such a way that it looks like 2 tumors. They are thinking right now that it is benign. *Pray*

Thank you all for praying; and for continuing to pray.

GBU all,
Sylvia :)

Hi, Everyone!

I found out on FB that Josh has a "low grade glioma." I googled it, but don't know any personal details as Josh isn't returning my calls. I don't know if we'll really have that lunch on Mon.

The tumor will be excised in about 6 weeks. A glioma can be benign or cancerous, and at this point I don't know which. Low grade sounds positive.

Thank you for your continuing prayers.
