I sit here wondering if life is really worth living......I go through times of deep depression.....as I am now. I feel worthless, hopeless, and ready to just stop the pain. I tried to take my life in November of 2008 and almost succeeded. I stayed angry at God for a long time because I lived. The problem is that I know that even if I manage to somehow make it through this awful time and feel good again that it won't last.....and I will be right back in this horrible place again. So, what is the use in trying? Why survive only to have to endure this again and again? Is it worth it? But is suicide my ONLY option? Please tell me no......I don't want to die but I don't want to live like this either......help....

Just to tell you that suicide is not only solution!

I spent 6 hard,very hard years before I met Jesus who saved me from my

depression and pain.I don't remember any day in that period without wish to

kill myself..and I never did that.I said to myself..you have to survive...and

one day He decided to take that awful pain from me.Jesus did that with

smile,easy as only God can.Humans can't do that.

So..ask for His will in your life.

If you are seriously depressed meds would be recommended for sure.

But,even in that case put your faith in God.

I had battled with suicide attemps and thoughts for many years i bound it in Jesus name got in the word of God and change the music i listen to to praise and worship.i keep my mind on positive things like drawing or helping others out when needed.
i pray in Jesus name Living 4 him that you find peace and rest for your soul and minde and right now Jesus is wraping his arms aroud you and loving you and filling your heart and mind with peace.amen

Hi Living..i like your name! Living, suicide is NOT the answer. The answer is in living for Him. He gave you life..for His purpose..for His reasons..for His glory and for His will. Dont you know that your life is not your own? He had and has a plan for you that is only for YOU. You are created in His image...and for His glory.

My mom battle depression her whole life. There were medications they gave her that helped her get through. My sister....you were led here to find the answers you are looking for..and to find the path that He has laid out for you. The enemy of your soul doesnt want you to feel any hope, but his this was his goal from the start of your life. He cant read your mind, but he sees the way you respond to things..and hears the words you say. He will also whisper lies to you that convinces you that things will always be the same. Remember..he comes to kill, steal and destroy. Just what is it he wants to kill, steal and destroy??? A child of God who has already received victory through the saving and healing blood of Jesus.

Read His word. Replace these thoughts with His truth. Keep seeking His will for your life.....He knew you before He created the earth..and had His own plan for just YOU.

Im praying for you. Seek His truth...dont listen to the whispers from the enemy.

God bless you..and know that you are here cuz He led you here..and you are alive cuz He gave YOU breath.
