I have been reading a book entitled Bold Love. It has a tremendous amount of information and while reading tonight, something hit home that i felt the need to share, it says: Our desire, or lust, to embrace all good things is perfectly legitimate because we are created to long deeply for fulfillment, ultimately through union with God. But destructive lust has a different flavor. It is a strong craving to possess the life and soul of another in order to simultaneously fill an emptiness in oneself and destroy the fullness in another. Destructive lust is the intersection of desire and destruction, and emptiness and vengence. A person whose heart is fueled by such lust not only sucks life out of a host in order to dim the intensity of his loneliness, but also relishes mastery and power over someone or something..

This is speaking loudly to me tonight. I am praying and am continuing to read in an effort to understand my current situation and to try to do God's will. I do not know what that is yet, but I am trying.. and I have faith that wisdom will come.. Gods will not mine..

I kept reading and wish i had posted this with my first post.. so here is more.
Lust is the effort to possess another in order to steal enough passion to be lifted out of our current struggles into a world that feels (for an instant) like the Garden of Eden. If anger is the desire to make someone pay for blocking our return to the garden, then lust is our effort to push our way back into the garden..

Wow,, this is an awesome book... aww and lizzie my singing sista ty for ur support.
