Hello

This forum is for those souls 18 years and older who are dealing with some type of addictive behavior whether it be from alcohol, drugs, overeating, fear, worry, sex, etc. Only with help and guidance from God can we ever hope to overcome these addictions. What is impossible for us to do IS POSSIBLE with God. Friends and family of those stricken with addictions are welcome to share as this problem affects more than just the soul entangled in its web.

Hello all! It has been such a long time! Finally I have internet again after our move. This past summer has been extremely trying to put it mildly! I thought I was moving my kids into a better place when we got away from my abusive ex and the first few months were a lot better. I was warned not to talk to anyone out here, but me being the socialite that I am I did not listen. My pastor always says that we as christians should be willing to talk to anybody and everybody. I never really befriended anyone out here but one single mom and her two boys. Logan is fifteen and her oldest. He is special needs. Her youngest is Colin and he is fourteen. He is severely autistic and functions at the level of a four year old. Over the summer webecame VERY close! Logan calls me mom. THESE PEOPLE ARE FAMILY TO ME! They even have a key to my apartment. My problems with the family below her started at the beginning of summer while Tina's started two years ago. She warned me that once they found put we were griends that they would come after me as. They have the rest of her friends out out here
I thought she was just paranoid. I was wrong. I felt like we were living in our own little hell. The were physically coming after my kids. We were verbally attacked and even my three year old son was threatened by my adult neighbor. We don't live in tje best neighborhood and out here drugs and sex will get you anything you want so they successfully turned the entire neighborhood against us! It got so bad they my eight year old son began telling his teachers he wanted to kill himself. One night he begged for a knife so he could end his life. IT WAS VERY BAD! The police nor the property manager would do anything
I began video recording what the kids were doing to us. The twelve year old was physically threatening to hurt my kids and screaming and cursing imto my windows. The day she physically hit me I decided to take this to court. I won! I got a no contact stalking order against her mother since you cannot get a restraining order against a twelve year old. A no contact order states that the person cannot contact you through third parties as well. Her children were spefically listed in the order as well. Our victory was short lived because four days later on October 22nd my grandpa passed away. My grandparents were getting ready to celebrate their 64th wedding anniversary this December. Less than a month later my grandma's best friend of 77 years passed away. Her funeral was the day before Thanksgiving. My grandma didn't have it in her to come to our Thanksgiving celebration yesterday. There was such a spirit of sadness yesterday. We are still trying to overcome all these things. Making matters worse, our property manager knows she is in A LOT AND I MEAN ALOT of legal trouble. Tina has alawyer working on this. They are supposed to evict our problem neighbor because they are not allowed to be within 300 feet of me or my apartment and their building is 43 feet from mine. Our property manager is citing us with rediculous violations just looking for a way to evict us. They want us out because they want us quiet so they are out of trouble. I think we still have a HUGE battle ahead of us. If thataint bad enough the neighbors are now coming after my mom. We just have to find a way to prove it. If we prove it they go to jail, not only for vandalism but for violating my order of protection.
