Bronze pot , clay pot ... Resting on the sand of a riverbank .... Rains come , the bank overflows and washes the pots out of their resting place and start floating down the river ... Quite a time later , bronze pot looks back , and sees that the clay pot is keeping a distance between them (for fear of getting chipped, cracked , or shattered ) .... Bronze pot says "Don't worry , I won't bump you" ... Clay pot responds by "Whether you hit me or I hit you , the result is still going to be the same" .

That is an old Greek tale ... a parable of a sort , that my mother usually told us kids often . - (yep , the usual "he hit me first" thang)

In an alcoholic home , it fits it to a tee doesn't it ? ... I mean , everyone is doing what they do best , AVOIDING EACH OTHER !!! rofl . The alcoholic doing what he does best ... Drink ! .... and the Non-alcoholics are doing whatever non-alcoholics do (never been a "non-alcoholic" , so I wouldn't kno what they do best) ... Well , so far , no harm , no foul right ? ... Until , that is , one or the other , for whatever reason , says something about the other's behaviour then ... Instant blow-out !... Why ? , why does that happen more often than not ?

Every word we speak , every action we take , there is ALWAYS some kind of reaction from the other parties in attendance , everyone gets effected .

In Christ , our Lord

We are all part of one body. When one part of the body hurts, the whole body hurts.
The household is the same.

I found this cool quote that i wanted to share in reguards to this post.

“Whatever we learn has a purpose and whatever we do affects everything and everyone else, if even in the tiniest way. Why, when a housefly flaps his wings, a breeze goes round the world; And it's much the same thing with knowledge, for whenever you learn something new, the whole world becomes that much richer.” ~ Norton Juster

Good post
