Something I thought I would share

Ok - i don't usually do this but .... here goes.... something i wrote during a hard time...

Unseen Love

One day I got this inspiration - a new life I would form
I worked day and night designing, planning and putting you together
Finally you were born - and my eyes filled with tears
Would you notice me?

I was there when you smiled for the first time. I watched as you learned to walk.
Every little bump and bruis hurt me, but not as much as the emotional hurts that come with life.
Every disappointment, every loss, every hurt and every tear tore my heart to pieces
My child, I was there, I saw it all. I wanted to tear you away from this horrid world.
But I couldn't because this is life. So I watched.

As you grew and matured, I tried to send you little messages
Just to tell you that I was there
Warm sunshine, faithful friends, the little puppy that kissed your face.
Rainbows, flowers, beautiful waterfalls, majestic storms.
I tried to put you on my lap, countless times - did you feel it?

I caught every tear and treasured it with sadness
I was there but you couldn't see me.
The nights when you were alone wondering what life was all about
I sat next to you and tried to tell you.

You see, I amthe only one who knows where you came from
and where you are going.
I have so many plans and my thoughts for you are beautiful
I could have shown you the way, so many times - and comforted you
But you wouldn't let me. So I watched.

I can't stop you from getting hurt or falling
But I can love you through it and give yo the strength to go on
I can be anything you need - I am all-sufficient
I am here - do you notice?

My love your you is deeper that the sea and higher than the mountains
Its bigger than anything you could ever imagine
Its here waiting for you - I am right next to you
Are you going to notice me?
You need only to ask.
