It's That Time

Hi everyone.
For me, the Holidays was a time to consume "whatever' made me feel good.
It usually always made me feel bad afterward.
Life is much more fulfilling when we are filled the the Spirit and not with spirits. *Whistle*
Temptations will arrive; even for me.
Stay strong and abide in Him. He will do for you what you can't do for yourselves.
Just a reminder from an old drunk who has come a long way through God's Grace and love.

I know Vahn will have insight to this and will add his wisdom.

I tell you this because I missed so many Christmas gatherings because I was to messed to attend or in jails or prison.
Today..... I am grateful to live life on life's terms.
I might add that I am proud of a few here who has been sober since they arrived here. God Bless them. I am very proud of them!

I luv and care for each of you and only want peace within for you.

GBU all

Luv ya,

Real *harp*

Add what brother ? You said it all , and I thank our All Gracious Lord , you , and all other brothers/sisters support for each other through whom I did not find it necessary for me to pick up a drink and a drug today , one day at a time .

I would much rather "miss" one Holyday without a drink and cry about it for one day , rather than take that one drink and cry all the other Holydays everyday for the rest of my life .

But For The Grace of God .

Luv ya Brother
In Christ , our Lord
