the tools you need

This forum is for those souls 18 years and older who are dealing with some type of addictive behavior whether it be from alcohol, drugs, overeating, fear, worry, sex, etc. Only with help and guidance from God can we ever hope to overcome these addictions. What is impossible for us to do IS POSSIBLE with God. Friends and family of those stricken with addictions are welcome to share as this problem affects more than just the soul entangled in its web.

the tools you need

God told this weak little man to go push against that big rock outside his door the little man never liked the rock sitting outside his door so he went out and began pushing against it but day after day of pushing it never budged an inch but the man keep it up day after day because God asked him too until one day after months of pushing and not budging the rock he fell to his knees and said God I'm so sorry I let you down and God spoke to the man and said {my son you have not let me down, look at yourself do you remember the weak little man that started to push against the rock so many months ago} and the man stood up and looked at himself and he saw that he had become a very muscular stout man and he began to smile but he realized he still could not move the rock and he spoke this to the Lord and the Lord said {no you can't move it but I have given you what you need to rid yourself of that rock now with the muscles you have and the large hammer you have bust the rock and be rid of it!!}
you see we all fail everyday but what we don't realize is God is giving us the tools to crush our addictions we just need to realize it and use it
God bless all
