Dear______,

When you feel the urge, pull out this letter. Chances are if you are reading it, there is a pleasurable thrill of the thought of doing something. Please read to the end because if the thought is about acting out, chances are that you are alone in contemplating it. So please read.

Each time is the same. There is the thought-the pleasure. There is mthe anger, the loneliness, the feelings of entitlement. But remember, every time is the same; you will regret terribly what you now want to do.

* You will have to worry about being caught.
* You will wonder if you get a disease.
* You will despair over your broken commitments.
* You will feel pain at the people you use.
* You will have to lie to cover up-always there are lies.
* You will have suicidal feelings.
* You will place all your career sucess in jeopardy.
* You will never enjoy it-you are always disappointed.
* You will lose yourself for days thinking about Gods' punishment, even though you know that isn't true.

Right now your addict is sieducing you with promises that won't work. So figure out what you need:

* Are you hungry or tired?
* Are you angry?
* Are you overextended?
* Are you needing care?

Find whatever you need and get it. Do not do the one thing that will make all the above worse.
The question is. if everybody could see what you are about to do, would you still do it? You are lovable and worthwhile. You deserve getting you needs met in a way that respects your wonderfulness. Imagine spirituality that is peaceful, graceful, vibrant, and growing-not what you are about now.
Please listen to yourself. You know that it won't happen for you by acting out. Think of all the faces of those in the past. Remember how you would have to front in order to get out. Do not kid yourself. Instead, love yourself enough to let it pass-let go. Call someone.

Love,

Praying it reaches those who really need it.

My hope is for someone out there struggling, to be able to use it as a tool to help break this addictive cycle.

I was listening to WORD-FM at lunchtime a week or so ago, and the guest speaker we an aussie, who is trying to make us aware of the epidemic that is spreading unbeknownst to society, concerning the internet, pornography, and our children. The access to it, and the huge affect it is having on their minds, has set a whole generation up for such a powerful addiction. And the porn industry knows just how massive profits are for them, greater than they have ever been in the past. This has been something I know needs to be brought to the forefront, and we need to get our heads out of the sand.

GBUAll,
Wonder

*bravo* So True!

In this day and age.... my heart WEEPS for our children that are out there learning things that we didn't even speak of until teens, and they are hearing/seeing them at the ages of 5-6 and some younger! *eek*

TELEVISION... is definitely one of satan's biggest tools to get his FILTH out there for children! :( It can also be used to HELP draw closer to GOD, when your watching the right programs. The sad thing is... people use it for a babysitter and don't even realize what that babysitter is teaching their children! CRAZY!!!! *Yikes*

I'm with you on this all the way.... PEOPLE HAVE TO WAKE UP! I'll be praying the Lord do exactly what needs to be done..... OPEN EYES!!!! Keep showing people the truth and some WILL see it! *Preaching*

If you need me for anything let me know... my prayers are with you! *BlessYou*

Love in Christ,
Linda *Cheer*
