Real Solutions Chat Program is for those souls who are dealing with some type of addictive behavior whether it be from alcohol, drugs, sex, eating, etc. We will work together to find a solution to each problem, and deal with it one day at a time. Only with help and guidance from God can we ever hope to overcome these addictions. What is impossible for us to do IS POSSIBLE with God. Friends and family of those stricken with addictions are welcome to share as this problem affects more than just the soul entangled in its web.

I am really struggling with lust. This has been a problem for me for a few years and have done my best to stop. I have prayed about alot and am thinking i need to become accountable to someone as I believe God is telling me to. The prolem with this is I am afraid to ask someone to help as I am afraid of what they think. I am also pretty shy. I would appreciate it if you would pray for me and make suggestions to help me beat this addiction. Thank you.

First, welcome to Oasis.
2nd, you are not alone in this area.
Many have problems with this this issue.
We do not judge here.
For me, Ii had to learn to walk and have a love relationship with Jesus. I studied the word and prayed.
I looked but did not "dwell" on her.
As I studied, I came across this verse>>>>>>
Mark 4:19 "And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful."

Romans 13:14 " But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

We as have to get our minds off of earthly things and on Spiritual things. It can be difficult in a busy world as today.

I suggest you memorize this verse.......Matthew 6:33 " But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." It will BECOME TRUE!!

We are here to share our experiences whether good or bad. I came here with very bad ones! With time, prayer, His Word, and fellowship with His people, I made a a complete turn around.
It takes work. God sees your heart and knows just what you need.

There are many programs here you can do and one is the 14 day COOL counseling program.
Many here are will to guide you around and help.

Colossians 3:2 states, " Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

I hope this helps in some way as I know His word does not come back void.

I am just a sinner saved by grace that God has allowed me to grow in a way to help others sometimes.

Thank you for your reply.I really appreciate it. I am going to do my best to beat this and pray that these verses will really encourage me to fight harder against this addiction. I haven't seen a couple of the verses you gave me but looking over them I see that they will really help me. Thanks again for your reply and please pray for me to defeat this problem.
