Update

Well, its been some time since I have come in talking about stuff. So, i thought i would just send out an update. My friend started working and his check gets direct deposited into my account. So far so good. He's working and has gotten paid once and is due to be paid again tomorrow. Financially things will clear up some within about a month i think. He makes jokes about drugs and i look at him like what???!!??? NO WAY!! Then he says he really doesnt want to go back because he remembers the dread and hated that feeling. So, for now thank God, things are good. Thanks all of u for listening. GBU all

This is great news sis. I would think God is smiling while looking at you, smiling because u had the patience to believe in the power of prayer and HIS Faithfulness to answer
I would imagine u will have moments still with your friend, where u find yourself holding your breath. Just count to 10 sis and pray.
I am sure your friend is feeling so much better about his life now, and I pray your love and patience with him, have opened his eyes even more to see Jesus in you

Ty both. and yeah ditto it is hard sometimes. I find myself walking away and praying sometimes. I dont pray as much as i should. I keep hoping he will find his way back to God. He has watched some preaching on tv some and it seems like when i come here he comes into the puter room to see what i am doing. Even though its like he's aggravating me and picking on me and trying to type things in in chat, I think that in a way he is searching or it is my hope that he is searching for a way to reconcile his issues and allow God back in. Til then I pray and sometimes i am tempted, but Praise God, He has helped me not to fall. I am blessed in so many ways, I feel like shouting it from the rooftops sometimes, but then i think i would get locked up . God's love is so amazing. I am in awe of the miracles He works in people's lives, including my own.
