Food for thought

This forum is for those souls 18 years and older who are dealing with some type of addictive behavior whether it be from alcohol, drugs, overeating, fear, worry, sex, etc. Only with help and guidance from God can we ever hope to overcome these addictions. What is impossible for us to do IS POSSIBLE with God. Friends and family of those stricken with addictions are welcome to share as this problem affects more than just the soul entangled in its web.

Food for thought

Postby Leah4Christ » Sun Apr 03, 2011 5:43 pm

It just dawned on me (OR perhaps it was God's wonderful voice that led me to this conclusion) but, if you do believe that you have Christ in you, when you eat, you are feeding your body but Christ as well. I wonder if we were to consider that for just one minute before we pick up that cheeseburger or potatoe chips, or consume that soda, or peice of chocolate cake, WOULD we carry it through or, possibly, resolve to eat something more healthy instead. Anyhow, just food for thought.
God bless you all~

Gal 2:20
20 I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
