CCC Stepping Stone #2

Postby Worship Leader » Thu Feb 10, 2011 12:53 pm

I just read through Stepping Stone #2 in Christian Counseling. From reading the study/lesson I learned that I am to renew my mind. I use to think often that renewing my mind only came by reading the word of God, but I learned that that is just one among other ways to do so. I learned that listening to Christian music is an affective way of renewing the mind when the enemy or the flesh sends thoughts that are not pleasing to the Lord.

So therefore, day by day I need to be determined to fix my thoughts on God and what he wants me to do (my purpose) by substituting my thoughts with fellowship, Christian music a.k.a. praise and worship and the word of God. As I make an effort to do this, I believe truly that I will begin to see a difference and only God makes the difference. Those are my thoughts on this lesson in Christian Counseling on Stepping Stone #2

Hi Joseph
Yes listening to Christian music will uplift your soul even if you think it isn't. Keep your mind occupied on other things alt all times when you feel your thoughts wondering sit at the keyboard and ask Jesus to talk through your fingers.
I know that you can do this..Keep pressing in and focusing on all the positive.
Even in the hardest of times...He is there holding our hand

Now your talking! :)

Good to see you doing the steps and applying the words shared there by the Holy Spirit. May He continue to guide you. May you willingly accept His words. May you be greatly blessed and may He be greatly pleased.

God bless.
*angel7* Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.
