faith is a funny thing. is it coincidence that the studies in step 8 are an exact answer to questions on what gifts i have in the Spirit? i know i have the gift of tongues(as i need much edification), i have prayed for years for the gift of prophecy simply because the bible told me to deisire that we may prophesy and seek the more earnest gift. as a teenager, newly saved and not complete in understanding, i was taken away in a night vision on at least two occasions. more than dreams, i cannot describe to you how they felt. one was concerning my own walk with Christ, the other, i will have to pray that GOD brings back to my remembrance.
i have also have uncountable feelings of deja vu. i sincerely desire to be a good steward of the manifold grace of GOD, by ministering whatever gifts HE has endowed me with because HE deserves all glory, honor, and praise. i pray that HE will instruct me, and continue to give me wisdom as i press on in HIM.

I too have longed to have the gift of prophecy...but God has not ever found that I need this gift as of this time...but I understand the praying for the best gifts for sure...

God gives us the gifts we need...to do what He needs us to at the time of His calling....but something else I know to be true is that if we had all the gifts we wouldn't need the other members of the Body of Christ...so God makes it where we are dependant upon each other for gifts that we do not have...all His way of making us ONE...pretty cool for sure.
