Greetings,
The Christianity Oasis Ministry is a massive Christian community which was created to bring forth diverse souls, both Christians and potential Christians, by way of the thousands of websites filled with Christians studies, programs, education, books, games, mall, music, forums, chat rooms and other avenues to teach and entertain Christians, as they sojourn along their Christian path.
There is one aspect though, which is the foundation of this Ministry and that is the Christian Counseling. We have many souls who come here with varying issues which have imprisoned their soul. These souls are lost and hurting in a darkness many cannot even fathom.
We also have many souls who have been led here as to reach and teach these lost and hurting souls. These called Christians are an ear, shoulder, friend and oft times a sounding board when these hurting souls need to vent.
Galatians 6:2 ... Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
There are diverse administrations of caregiving too ... From those who create chat rooms to bring joy and laughter (Great medicine) to the various chat programs offering advice or a place to talk, to those who answer posts in forums, to the ones who talk one on one in pm or by phone, to prayer partners, etc.
Consider this aspect of this Ministry as being like a hospital, old folks home, orphanage or other institutions, the world provides, for people to be able to heal or be gently cared for as they walk the path of life.
We all know that we can see, hear and sense some horrible things at these places. From bloody cuts, to screams of pain, to cries in the night due to loneliness which can bring forth tears to the eyes and heart, to foul spirits within.
However ... We also see caregivers at these places working diligently to help these souls.
Now, back to the Christianity Oasis being a Christian community which has an interactive area with forums and chat rooms for ALL the various types of Christians who are led here ... There will be times when a Christian, who is looking for a nice lil comfy talk with fellow Christians, will encounter a lost and hurting soul. Some of these lil lambs can be having a bad day(s) and have some of these visiting Christians deem them as being ... Unacceptable.
We ask that if and when you encounter these lost and hurting souls, that you do as you would with YOUR OWN grandma if she were screaming in an old folks home (Tho it was what was best) or her sitting at her own home, in silence and tears, cuz she hates where she is in life.
James 1:27 ... Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction .......
Or YOUR OWN friend who got hooked on alcohol and/or drugs, seeking help and the last thing they need is your "I told you so" ...
Proverbs 17:9 ... He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends.
Or YOUR OWN sister who is involved in domestic violence and wants it to work ... BUT.
1 Corinthians 12:25-26 ... That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
Or YOUR OWN daughter who is caught up in the web of lust and wants out, but does not need stones thrown at her. What good would that do, but kill her?
John 8:7 ... He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
Or how about YOUR OWN son who has been taught to cut and has no idea how to escape the grasp, but hearing "ewwwwwwwwww" is certainly only gonna send them back into the darkness.
1 John 3:17 ... But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
Or YOUR OWN self who chooses to whisper about and condemn these souls, tho you commit your own sins in God's sight.
Matthew 23:13 ... But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the Kingdom of Heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
The thing is ... These lost and hurting souls ARE your friends and family. The Christian family.
Romans 12:9-21 ... Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; Distributing to the necessity of Saints; given to hospitality. Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
Jesus was VERY clear ...
Matthew 25:31-46 ... When the Son of man shall come in His glory, and all the holy Angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory: And before Him shall be gathered all nations: and He shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And He shall set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on His right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer Him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Then shall He say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and His angels: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer Him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall He answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
Consider reaching out for these souls ... Both in forums and chat (In particular the Counseling forum)
They aint a heavy burden ... They are your brethren.
Luv all of ya
