Beating a Dead Horse Part 1

Hosted by Saint 701 ... This forum is for the purpose of examining the subject of Grace and its great place in God's work in the body of Christ Jesus of which we are a part. "The Book of Romans" was chosen for the title since that book is so rich in Grace to us, but in no way is this forum limited in examining Grace to only the "Book of Romans."

Hello,

*AngelYellow*
Blessings!

If not for the beacons on the mountaintops like Christianity Oasis there would be little meat for Christians to feed upon anywhere. I am so thankful that our Lord made this house of light part of the good things He predestined me to be a part of. And I want to thank the Oasis Team and all my brothers and sisters on here for their faithfulness in this ministry. May this ministry and all that are a part of it be blessed and overflowing with more and more lambs to feed and nourish, and may the meat of God's good word sewn here grow and multifply continually throughout the world until the coming of our Lord. Dad, in Jesus name we pray and give thanks that you always here us, Amen.

First of all, let us remind you that we have been discussing liberal theology think tanks such Covenant and Eden Seminaries in the greater St. Louis Metropolitan area. While Covenant considers itself conservative; they, along with many other evangelical type Christian communities, (including Eden), have built a fallacious man-made doctrinal wall on top of the only foundation, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. To do so requires liberal thought, i.e., defining God’s current work on the Earth as the work they do themselves. (Secular Humanism?)

Such often requires keeping the label on the bottle, (Christ), emptying the bottle of the new wine, (the Holy Spirit), and refilling it with the same putrescence that brought the wrath of God on the people of Israel two thousand years ago. Of this generation some scriptures come to mind.

Matt: 23

[33] Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

Acts.7

[51] Ye stiff necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.

Rev.3
[14] And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
[17] Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
[18] I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
[19] As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
[22] He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Is anyone out there listening?

It is most certainly far better to die in faith believing, than it is to live in unbelief.
