Christianity Oasis Forum

Hosted by Saint 701 ... This forum is for the purpose of examining the subject of Grace and its great place in God's work in the body of Christ Jesus of which we are a part. "The Book of Romans" was chosen for the title since that book is so rich in Grace to us, but in no way is this forum limited in examining Grace to only the "Book of Romans."

A Nation Gone Wrong

Postby saint701 » Wed Apr 06, 2011 1:22 pm

Hello All,

*AngelYellow*
Blessings!

When the revolutions began in the Middle East the first thought that came into my head was, "Satan has been kicked out of Heaven and he is full of wrath. He has begun to gather the nations to war, and it is the last time." At the same time I thought these words I also stated them to my brother.

We all know the record of the Jews and Israelites in the Old Testament. Their actions were sometimes honorable, and at other times dishonorable. God showed them mercy as much as His law would allow, but when they took wives from the idol worshipping nations round about them things spiraled downward. The idol worshipping wives would seduce their husbands into worshipping Gods that were no Gods.

Doing such is called spiritual fornication. Practicing such has a great impact upon one's soul. In the New Testament we read that we are to flee fornication. Unfortunately, Christians frequently disregard this warning as not for today. However, it is for today, but not in the sense most of us think. Paul is talking about spiritual fornication. Spiritual fornication occurs when a believing Christian couples his/her body with an idol worshipping partner such as Hindu, Buddhist, etc., and so on and so forth. Paul warns us not to do so because such closes the door to our spiritual life in Christ and places us in union with the idol our partner worships. Our soul has chosen to side with our flesh on such occasion and places it in union with the spirit of the idol. The Apostle Paul explains it this way.

1 Cor. 6

[13] Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.
[14] And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.
[15] Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.
[16] What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
[17] But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
[18] Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that commiteth fornication sinneth against his own body.
[19] What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
[20] For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

Fornication has several forms I will call conditions, each condition coupled with the next and with the next, etc., being like a progressive disease that leads to death. Condition number one is sex with another Christian outside of wedlock. The Lord doesn't judge this too harshly. Condition number two is sex with another that is not a Christian. Such is spiritual fornication and will bring the Lord's judgment upon us if we continue to practice that. Condition number 3 is marrying an idol worshipping or unbelieving partner. In this condition the Lord may cut us off from His presence entirely until the end of that marriage. Should one die in such a state without converting the partner to Christianity one will not be happy in passing and will have to give account. Condition number 4 is inviting those serving other Gods to come and live in your country. This begins to sever the country from God's protection. Condition number 5 is the joining of Christian practices with occult practices, the rise of unbelief among the masses, and the onset of those unbelievers attempting to destroy the influence of a once wonderful Christian culture. This opens the door to disaster. Condition number 6 is the spiritual consequence of all the foregoing practices. Condition number six is when a Christian nation becomes overrun with unbelieving people that systematically go about converting the country to their belief system. The country is gutted from within. Despite numerous and more numerous disasters the country continues to slide into unbelief. Christianity has been replaced by homo sexuality, many other forms of perversity, rampant fornication, political corruption, lies being accepted as truths, and treasonous activities being ignored. This condition is condition number seven. At this point the destruction of the nation is not far off. Revolution or failure at war may ensue. The curse of poverty, sickness, and death is at hand.

This country has mocked God, daring Him to judge them. This country has become blind to the thematic example of Israel being scattered among the nations because of fornication. Now should the aforementioned practices be tolerated around the world, then a great falling away has occurred, and the anti-christ is near.

Hello Mr. Paul Swartz,

*AngelYellow*
Blessings!

First of all, wecome to Christianity Oasis. We are a loving Christian online community, full of love and forgiveness for all. For those that are trapped in various vices, we have counseling, teaching, and forums that can help, and you will always find someone here to pray with you no matter what the need is. And, we have church services as well. Those in the ministry here are ministers of reconciliation, not head bashing.

Thank you for adding your agreement to my post. I agree. Our leaders should be warned. Repentance should begin from the top down and the bottom up, for it is there our nation has gone wrong. They have filled the gut of this country with putrification so vile the stench must have reached heaven. To them darkness is light, and light darkness. They seized our universities, kicked God out of our schools, and proceeded to indoctrinate an entire generation in the ways spiritual death. Most ministers sat idly by, either ignorant of the direction our country was headed or complicit in its destruction.

What amazes me is that shortly after Israel was reborn as a nation, our country began to fall away. Their rebirth as a nation should have stirred Christians to action. Ministers all over our land should have warned our nation to beware of doing those things that brought Israel to ruin.

It is simply mind boggling that of all the ministers ordained into the ministry since the late 1950's how very, very few were taught to understand a biblical theme as broad and as plain in the Old Testament as LOOK! SEE WHAT I HAVE DONE TO MY OWN PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY SERVED OTHER GODS! SEE! I HAVE PROCLAIMED TO THE ENTIRE WORLD THE CATASTROPHY THAT AWAITS SHOULD THEY EMBARK UPON SUCH A CALAMITOUS ADVENTURE.

I always say that our Lord has written us a book containing various themes. He first introduces a theme in microcosm, then expands and expands and expands until He has presented us with the final result of our actions, the analogous macrocosm of His teaching, whether it be positive or negative. Both sides are plainly developed and plainly seen. God has not hidden His plans from us.

Who is that nation that has made the world to drink of the wine and wrath of her fornication? Who is the great whore, the Mother Babylon that rides the back of the damned beast until it has taken power? And why does the beast then turn and devour her?

ONLY THOSE THAT CONTINUE UNTIL THE END SHALL BE SAVED!

Hello Christianity Oasis, All!

*AngelYellow*

Blessings!

Here is another article that deserves some additional attention. Most do not recognize the significance of the burgeoning health problems many U. S. Citizens are facing. Issues from a crowded waist line to heart attacks, strokes, cancer, diabetes, and mental health are on the rise. As it is written, sin is a reproach to any nation. Why? It brings with it the curse of poverty, sickness, and death.

Yes, many of us live under grace because of our faith in our Lord, but if we would be honest with ourselves, many of our continued problems are a result of making poor decisions earlier in our lives. We can't undo the consequences, but we can live in the light of our Lord's Spirit, Word, and Love. Doing so brings His blessings to us which include more wealth, better health, and life. However, the truth about our country as a whole cannot and should not be overlooked. We live in a nation gone wrong, a nation ignoring the many reasons the nation of Israel collapsed under the might of the Roman Empire in 70 A.D.

Israel is God's lesson to every nation on this earth that falls into apostasy. Apostasy is a denial, or turning away from walking with God. When school prayer died last century this nation began a slide into oblivion. As a nation we are now at critical mass. Without righteous leaders governing us our reactors will melt down shortly and leave this nation mired in the nuclear waste of sin that as a nation, we will never be able to overcome.

Please pray that we, the electorate, will be given the grace to choose and put in office righteous men and women this coming election season.

Condition number 3.
My Grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness. (2 corinthians 12:9)

Conditon number 2.
For God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved (john 3:17)

condition number 1.

You Shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second like it, is this, You shall love your neighbour as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.

Love erases a multiple of sins.
To shine in one light.
