Prophecy 911

Blessings!
We have been discussing Harold Camping and his prediction that the world will end on May 21st, 2011. The internet is abuzz today with his most recent revelation. But oops! That's the problem. His date for the end of the world did not come to him by revelation of the Spirit of God, but by crunching some numbers. We reiterate what the good book says, and it says no one knows the day or hour of our Lord's coming, only our Lord of Lords King of Kings Lord Almighty Love Dad. Such a revelation will not come from revelation from the Spirit of God. He is not a man, that He can lie.
But most do know our Lord left us a visual perspective of what things would be happening preceding the coming of the end. First would come a time of sorrows, then affliction of the nation Israel, and the rise of many false prophets. (Harold Camping, etc.?) But we believe the most significant sign that the end draws near is contained in the gospel as a witness to all nations that only those that continue to end shall be saved.
We believe the operative word to be witness.
