Blessings in the Name of the Lord!

One of the better things I've written down through the years was a treatise on the subject of Mother Babylon. It was some 50 pages long and was a detailed study of Mother Babylon. This was back in the day when the Holy Spirit gave me a gift of faith, where I believed in my heart and spoke with my mouth that I would preach the Gospel and my wife and I would get teaching jobs. We didn't have those jobs at that time. Long story short...I preached the Gospel to my wife, which included my treatise on Mother Babylon, then a day before I finished it, (the treatise), the Lord Jesus spoke to me, and said, "Finish that and you will get teaching jobs." Needless to say I wrapped her up in a hurry.

Then, the very next day, I was at my tire shop and Mr. Leon A. Word, walked up to me and said, "Dennis, I know where you can get teaching jobs." He indeed did know and we did indeed get teaching jobs. Lots and lots of amazing grace from the Lord to us there, praise God!!

Now I had written a treatise on Mother Babylon and published it in the form of a cassette tape and sent it around the country...so guess where my wife and I landed? The Navajo Indian Reservation in New Mexico, where, during orientation, we were advised that witchcraft was real there...Navajo New Mexico to be exact...nice school, and well behaved students, even the witches...that's right...even the witches...There was a man, I was told, whose name was Muhlman. He was a witch doctor who became a Satanist. And he spread Satanism among the youth with fervor!!

Despite the students, and we're talking middle school students all the way up and through those graduating, even though well behaved, marked anything they could with satanic pentagrams. And there were times when some would trash the school and smash glass late at night ending classes for the next day for clean up and repairs.

But my students feared me. They knew I was Christian filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. For they had been with Muhlman, and saw when the spirit of the devil would come upon him and give him power. So they recognized when the Holy Spirit would come upon me and empower me. There was this one day when the Spirit of the Lord came upon me while my students were working on an assignment, where I had to step outside the classrooom to speak in tongues. All the students recognized that the Spirit had come upon me and they became afraid. The next day I was standing outside the classroom door when all my students came around a corner...and when they saw me they all shrank back.

So what does all of that have to do with Mother Babylon? One of her chief characteristics is/was/and will yet be for a while, the practice of witchcraft, works wrapped up in her title: Revelation Chapter 17 [5] And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. Witchcraft, you all, is an abomination in the eyes of our Lord...more to come in part 2.
