Spiritual Mindfulness for the Evil Day

Reason dictates that we should be mindful of the predicament the devil of deceit working in the world right now has found himself in. He’s backed himself into a corner and has no choice but to play his trump card which must show himself surpassing the power God placed in our Lord Jesus when He raised Him from the dead…evil being stronger than good as it were.
We must also be mindful that in spite of Christ’s victory over him he didn’t change at all in respect to his faith in his own name…You Shall Fail (YSF)…You Shall Fail (YSF) was the chief devil presiding over our Lord’s crucifixion. It thought by killing our Lord, it would, in effect, defeat our God, the creator of the Heavens and the Earth, by showing He had sin.
Without a doubt YSF was made to feel the shock and awe of God when our Lord took him captive and dragged him down into hell in the sight of all of that realm. No doubt the shock of seeing their master YSF helpless in the hands of our Lord, held captive by a cord made of the glory of God, sent our adversaries kicking and screaming into the hidden places of darkness; only to come out of hiding and see the great and almighty glory of God fill our Lord with power unimaginable and raise Him up as the first born of a new race of man!
But the devil failed, his power of sin reduced to rubble for all of those coming to God by faith, those believing God raised up Christ Jesus from the dead. Yes, the devil failed, leaving himself trapped in his own sin, guilty in all respects, being the father of the lie, in all his deeds, a liar, a thief, and a murderer from the beginning.
Now we watch faithfully, looking up, mindful that at any moment our Lord could come, mindful that all going on in the world is sin, mindful that all going on in the Middle East is pregnant with end time potential, mindful that the countries involved in the current Middle East struggle appear to be setting the stage for the King of the North and his companion nations to act.
The devil has but a short time. Before our Lord comes he must establish himself as the god of gods by introducing his own son into the earth…his TRUMP CARD if you will. Trump card… a decisive overriding factor or final resource —called also trump card...
