Dr. Myles Munroe, Commentary
Hello All,
Blessings!
Our Lord's Kingdom has come and is coming upon this earth more and more. But is that what we want? Is such best for the world? (Ha!) Dr. Myles Munroe, in his best selling book, Kingdom Principles, takes a look at what Kingdom of Heaven living might mean for us. In his book, Dr. Munroe examines what many of us have either forgotten, or have never known about kingdoms, kings, and their way of doing things. He does this in a view toward reawakening within us a desire for righteous governance.
Long ago in scripture King Solomon said, Prov. 29:2:
When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn. (Bible KJV).
If we would believe Dr. Munroe, Kingdom of Heaven living on this planet would be a good thing. Such would put an end to divisive religious and political human endeavors once and for all. For under the divine hand of God the people of this planet would be delivered from the tyranny of slavery and given the dominion of liberty, the liberty of the Sons of God. All in the Heavenly Kingdom on earth would be God's family. All would enjoy the rights and privileges of being His children.
The Bible, Dr. Munroe tells us:
"is not about religion and was never intended to be a religious book. Rather, its story and message are about the desire of a King to extend His Kingdom to new territories through His royal family." (Kingdom Principles, p. 42).
Is Myles Munroe for us? We believe so. The Bible declares the alternative for those in opposition to our Lord's rule. Why not be sons and daughters of the Lord of Lords King of Kings Lord Almighty God Love Dad and do right by His Spirit and be blessed? Consider the alternative...
Psalm 2
[1] Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
[2] The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
[3] Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
[4] He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
[5] Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
[6] Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
[7] I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
[8] Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
[9] Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
[10] Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
[11] Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
[12] Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

It is most certainly far better to die in faith believing, than it is to live in unbelief.
