Christianity Oasis Forum

Hosted by Saint 701 ... This forum is for the purpose of examining the subject of Grace and its great place in God's work in the body of Christ Jesus of which we are a part. "The Book of Romans" was chosen for the title since that book is so rich in Grace to us, but in no way is this forum limited in examining Grace to only the "Book of Romans."

The Spiritual Dynamic of Abiding Part II

Postby saint701 » Wed Jul 28, 2010 2:08 pm

Hello All,

*AngelYellow*
Blessings!

Abiding in Christ Jesus our Lord! What an awesome privilege it is to be taught by the Third Person of The Trinity, The Comforter, The Holy Spirit, The Spirit of Truth that the world cannot receive. What an awesome privilege it is to walk in His marvelous light, even the light of our Lord Jesus Christ each day. We often find ourselves saying, WOW! How could this have possibly happen to us!!!

Then we remember, we began by humbling ourselves before Him, setting ourselves apart for the purpose of seeking Him with all of our heart, mind, soul, and strength. During this time we prayed His Word before Him on our face, a long passionate prayer desiring to become ONE with Him for His purpose of His Kingdom on this earth. Because we sought to know Him and His will in the unity of His Spirit and purpose, He revealed Himself to us. He placed His Love and the Law of His Love in our Heart and told us that was His will for His Kingdom people on this earth, to love all of humanity, both bad and good.

Then He led us to pray another prayer. He led us to ask Him to give us His Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation in the Knowledge of Him. He did!

Eph.1

[17] That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him. (Unless otherwise stated all Bible references in this column are KJV).

Through that spirit, we learned to subject our spirit to look inwardly to the Spirit of Truth and learn from Him.

John.14

[17] Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

John.15

[26] But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

John.16

[13] Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

1John.

[6] We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

Such then became our experience of abiding in Christ Jesus our Lord. Each day He gave us His daily bread, and each day we began sharing that glorious wisdom and knowledge about the Kingdom of Heaven all over this planet. We began preaching and teaching and writing about this Gospel of the Kingdom of God here on this earth, that those that continue believing in Him until the end will be saved.

We made it our passion to abide in Him each day, looking inwardly for the marvelous light of His Glorious Spirit to shine into our spirit our Lord's teaching each day. The Spirit of Truth indeed received from the Lord and imparted such to us.

What an awesome privilege it became to abide in Christ Jesus our Lord each day and bear much fruit to His glory! Such is truly His abundance of grace working out His mighty working in us and through us to others.

It is most certainly far better to die in faith believing, than it is to live in unbelief.
