This forum is a sanctuary for those who are experiencing trials and tribulation and seek words of wisdom, comfort and TRUTH from fellow Christians who have experienced similar trials and tribulation and have overcome them. Never forget that we ALL fall down as we sojourn down this Christian Walk. The trick is to get up and carry on fighting the good fight of FAITH. One of the greatest gifts that our Father gave to Christians is ... Fellow Christians. James 5:16 ... Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much ...

Blessed by Oasis

"the peace of God that surpasses all understanding" Phil 4:7
I lacked peace in my life. when something happened, especially to my family, I would fall apart. Instantly. Since coming to Oasis this has changed. Oasis has been used of God to teach me what that verse means.
Inspite of our circumstances knowing that God is in control. Even when we do not "feel" that He is, He still is.
When my oldest son got hurt on the job on Thursday I was in chat doing "Overcoming the world". The old me would have fallen apart and probably made a hard thing worse. Instead I sent my husband on a head of me to the hospital and I finished "Overcoming the World" and then saw my son. The wonderful thing was people in Overcoming the World with me automatically started praying. I was so richly blessed by that.
My son is on the mend. If I had fallen apart I would not have experienced that blessing. I knew God had a reason for allowing it to happen. Maybe through this my son will draw closer to the Lord again.
My husband and my son bonded through this which enriched us because there has been strain in the relationship in the past.
If I had fallen apart at the hospital, the focus would have been on me.
Since I have MS, when I fall apart I really fall apart! It's very noticeable.
Another thing I praise God for is the fact I am not as lonely since finding Oasis. I am not able to get out as much as I would like to and I miss Christian fellowship. Now I awake in the morning looking forward to coming on this site and fellowshiping with all of you. You all have blessed my life.
God Bless You All

This site has been a blessing to me, the extent to which I cannot fully express, but God knows the many ways my life has changed for the better since He led me to the Oasis.

We are glad u are here sis. You are not alone, you have people here who care about you and you are an important part of our Oasis family. And we are blessed. It is wonderful to see u gain strength in the Lord and how He is working thru u to reach others.

May He continue to bless and keep you and yours

Amen Lizzie and Sheri. We all are a work in progress. But thank God He does not give up on us. He is always there to guide and direct our steps when we submit ourselves to Him.
And even when we fail He is there to pick us back up!
What an awesome God!
Luv Ya
