Laying stone number 2

Postby Pert » Thu Jul 26, 2012 9:07 pm

Today's assignment is to surround myself with reminders of my purpose.

My purpose in life? Whew, that's kind of heavy! I'm not sure on that one yet, but I know that in due time, it will be revealed to me.

My purpose for taking this journey? This has many answers. First and foremost, I'm tired of struggling. I mean, I know that in life we all struggle because life is not easy, but what I mean is struggling against myself and the world. I can't do this on my own. I've known that for a long time, but I still tried to do it. I need help. I have been failed by nearly everyone I've put TRUST (one of our key words!) into, and I think this was God's way of telling me not to trust in anyone but Him. So my purpose in this journey is to have FAITH enough to trust that God can help me through this.

My purpose is to come out on the other side equipped with the knowledge of how to better deal with life's storms.

My purpose is to lift this funk my life has become and learn how to smile again.

See you all tomorrow.
I may have wisdom, and knowledge on Earth
but if I speak wrong, then what is it worth?
See, what we now know is NOTHING compared
to the love that was shown when our lives were spared!
