Day 12

The last couple of days I have been ill and not able to be on the computer. That plus I got scammed. Luckly, my son called and I was telling him about it and he quickly too care of it. All I lost was $80, which is a lot to me, but Thank God, it could have been my whole monthly retirement!
We have a nasty heat wave along with many others across the US. All my flowers that I planted last fall and this spring, that I lovelingly tended, are drying. A friend and I were talking aboout the temps of 105 today and for the next week and decided we wouldn't worry about it because, "This is the day God hath made, we will rejoice in it and be glad." (My grandson is looking over my shoulder as I write and comments on my last statement "as long as we have AC.")
To get back to my thought, the Amish here have a saying , "to worry means you don't think God is big enought to take care of things." I like that thought. My God is awesome and big enough to handle anything. All things are possible with him.
