renewel of mind - entry 2

Postby candyhugo » Sat Mar 24, 2012 5:46 pm

*Clap* renewel of mind! a powerful thought alone. i have been trying to do this for a year since my path started, it was so wonderful to just be reminded that it is actually something that i have to do every day, comforting to know that it doesnt just happen all together just one time. i was beginning to think i was doing something wrong. *laughter*

today was great in so many was - i learned about God's grace today - His amazing grace!!! praise God for is is sooooo good to me. i love you Father, thank you for giving me your only Son, your ultimate gift of grace was transfering my sin to Him that day on the cross, and then renewing me with His righteousness... i mean... WOW!!! *bravo*

i am proud of myself thinking back over the day today... i was more patient than normal with C, however, i did get agitated with my dad - we clash often as we are so similar with regards to temperament. BUT - with my mom's guiding words in the tense situation (which were obviously guided by God) - i dropped the issue. i realise now that maybe its because subconsciously i realised that i dont always have to be right *laughter* i dont need to prove that what i am saying is valid, if i make an observation or a statement and my dad doesnt agree - i should just leave it at that. and i should have the right frame of mind not to react when he reacts to me abrasively. just because he is short with me does not mean i have to return it...

wow! just typing all of those thoughts now makes me realise that i am renewing my mind, just as Christ instructed.
Praise God for He works in us every moment of every day!

that's awesome you could see the Lord acting in your life like that! It's something to take a moment to realize how much He cares even about the small things in our lives.
