Writing after reading stepping stone 2. Te reading refers to Matthew 13 and the seeds that landed on verious surfaces such as on stone, in bird's bellies, within weeds or on fertile soil. The concept of pulling the weeds out of my mind sounds good and useful. I am not completely sure on what the weeds are but to name some that may be in me are: fear messing things up, doubt in Gods work, anger towards myself or in-laws. I like the analogy of a little bit of the root staying then growing again. I have been praying for God to remove my character defects especially pride, where I have expectations towards my wife, my self or my in laws. This pride weed needs pulled and all of its lateral and tap roots. Also I have a doubt or fear weed. There are things I must rely on God for and since there is some doubt I live in fear. My biggest fear is that my wife never comes back. It looks as if she never will, she has filed for a divorce. Instead of relying on God to return her to me I can only rely on God that what ever happens is what He knows is best for me.
