I have been job searching for months now. I graduated this past srping and have hit dead end after dead end for a job in my field. I currently work in a restauraunt but desperatly want to get out. It is just not the best fit with my family. I want a more triditional 9-5 job so I can spend more time with them. I want to work to live not the other way around. I have a job offer I was just given. It sounds like a great position and it lines up with all my strenghts. The problem is that I would have to relocate. If I was not seperated my wife would possibly consider it for it is not a big move but still a move. But with us seperated, it becomes a problem and how do I balance thing with my family. I just have to pray about it and see where God leads me.

Hi,
It's only for God and you to decide on what way you should or shouldn't go in your professional life. But I still have a few thoughts regarding your current plight.
God wants you to get the ideal position, one that suits all of your needs. Of course, sometimes we must compromise and sacrifice. And I don't know what the economic situation is in your part of the world.
If I were you I would remain open-minded and beg God to guide you. Would it be wise to take the job offer? Or wiser even to knock it back and wait for one in a more convenient location? Needless to say, only God knows. But if you beg Him, I am sure He will let you know, too.
As a footnote, there are a lot of bible verses encouraging persistence and prayer in order to get from God what we truly need in our lives. One such example is Matthew 21:22, 'If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.'
I'll leave it there, but will pray to Him that He guide you to make the best decision.
God bless.
