Re: Day Two
Hi tntchao and welcome to Oasis...first, know that you are in the right place. The Lord, led you here for His reasons...His Truth, His grace, His love, His healing. Im so glad He led you here. You are gonna learn alot these next few weeks. The Truths received within these steps is freeing. He loves you so very much.
I read your post from yesterday, too. My brother in Jesus, my heart goes out to you and your family. Im praying that through these steps, the Lord will show you just how much He loves you. These things you are struggling with have deep roots. We search and search for the kind of love in humans that we can only get from the Lord. Our flesh is weak. One suggestion for you would be to block all porno sites from you computer. Take this to the Lord. Talk to Him as you would your very best and trusted friend. Look for ways to replace negative thought and actions with something that brings honor to the Lord...
Im praying for you and your wife. Im praying the Lord will soften her heart toward you. His perfect will be done in your marriage. Have you ever read "The Love Dare" ? Its an awesome book written for marriages such as yours...or for any relationship we have...even in our friendships. It really is awesome.
My brother in Jesus, we have choices to make. When these temptations hit, run to the Lord with them. Listen to Christian music, read His word, come here to Oasis.....reach out to someone else...go for a walk and pray...whatever it takes to get away from the temptaion and replace it with something that honors the Lord. Everything youve taken to Him for forgivess, He has forgiven. The hard part of this is that He has also given us free will. During this time, let the Lord heal you. Focus on Him and let Him deal with your marriage...and with your wife's heart. I know you are praying about it all.
Again, Im praying for you and your family, as Im sure many others here are doing. His will be done in your marriage and in your lives.
God bless you brother. Dont give up. He hasnt and wont give up on you..and you are not alone in this.
In Jesus,
luv momo
