Stepping Stone 5

Postby Amie80 » Fri Oct 14, 2011 9:54 pm

Today I was lazy all day and slept and did nothing basically. I really need to start finding things to do. Anyways, today I learned that I have many many weeds and its gonna take time to get through them all. Also learned that I am selfish. Yes selfish. It is satan that tempts us and it is US that takes the bait. So when we do things it is not completely ourfault because we were tempted but it is our fault that we followed. No more "the devil made me do it" because we have free will. I am going to go over my weeds a little more tomorrow there was a long list and I have a lot of them lol. Hugs and Loves!

aww, sis, *hug*

Yes, we are selfish. We have this deep weed in us that says we deserve this or that......we hold people accountable for our feelings and needs..and we hold them more accountable than we hold ourselves. We hold them to higher expectations than what we are willing to give to them first. And sometimes, even when we do place someone else's needs before our own, we do it with selfish motivations, which is still selfish. Honestly, this is where I find that my own unforgiveness is the strongest...when Im being selfish, expecting more from someone who is just as human and just as fallable and able to make mistakes as I am. *Doh*

You are doing an awesome job, sis. Keep going. He has so much more to show you..and do in you.

God bless you!

In Jesus,
love momo *Halo*
