Trust is a big one for me and fear of getting hurt again it is a struggle at times.
the cccc. christian councling steps are helping me out alot and the support in the chatt rooms it helps to talk about it and vent all after all God created us to vent not to hold stuff in,
It hurts to look deep in side at the abuse its frightnig its better than holding it in I was told not to tell anyone about the abuse one was because no one would belive me and that you just leave it at Jesus feet and never speak of it again i know iam to leave it at Jesus feet yet sharing it with others is helping me to heal i wish it was faster one step at a time my prayer is that i am helping some one elts to heal *Pray*
when i hold things in i blow up and it shows up in every thing i do and say i
think its a good thing to get *help* when you need it when i held it in it causes stress to build up i even had a nervious break down that was scarey *lost* i was lost but Jesus is with me now *Computer* never thought God would use a computer to help and help me and heal me

Isn't it great to see that God is not limited in the ways and means He can work? I think of you and many others like you who have suffered much abuse in your lifetime and how God can take your brokeness and turn it into a testimony that will help another heal and grow. The most important thing is to trust God and face your fears, knowing that God is with you. The past can't hurt you anymore unless you allow it to do so. It's the memories that when allowed to run rampant with weeds planted from the enemy that will and can overtake the mind. But if one works in their garden daily and keeps the weeds pulled...those memories are just little scars from the past that can't be reopened to hurt anymore.

Praying for you.

luv ya
Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.

I agree ciny. We need each other yet need to be strong in the Lord as well.

Speaking of the past to get through it and to help others, yet not to keep it repeating by repeating it. Letting go and moving on. Takes a lot of trust to do so, but who better to trust in than our loving God, Jesus Christ.

That is how I understand it at this time.

Trust in God that no matter what has happened He can and will bring healing, completely if we are willing.
*angel7* Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.
