what a tiring & draining week

Postby Guest » Sun Feb 21, 2010 9:55 pm

Well, last week was a really tiring and draining week. My grandma is still in the local hospital battling pneumonia. On wednesday dr said things were beginning to shut down. It seemed that everything she was taking by mouth was going to lungs and a swallow study confirmed that. so was told she wouldnt be able to eat by mouth again. so they put her on an antibiotic with nutriets in it thru her iv and during the course of a couple days she started coming around. I started getting sick on Thursday as i have been at the hospital everyday since saturday. I ended up having to spend all day saturday here at home in bed sick. we are getting hit by a big snowstorm as well. I was able to go in to see her for a few hours today. I am still not feeling very well. Will see what monday brings.
