The Holy Spirit

Postby sleeplessinflorida » Fri Jan 29, 2010 10:50 pm

Last night I shared in one of the chat rooms that was scheduled at 10pm and it was wonderful to share with people who understood where I was coming from. I'm not used to that. But I felt great! *hug5* Then when I went to bed I talked to GOD, JESUS, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT and it was the best night sleep I've had in very long time. I was dreaming that I was singing Awesome God and I was good too. *Dancin* Remember, this is a dream now because I really can't even hold a note. Anyway, I remembered asking for a good nite sleep, to help me get up in the morning, and strength to do what needs to be done. Well, I got all that I asked for in prayer and more.

The Holy Spirit has been with me all day today. Praise the Lord. *Cheer* I don't know what to say... I haven't felt this way in sooo long. I'm overwhelmed with joy. I talked to him this morning, had coffee with him, read the daily bread, then did a bible study. I cleaned my kitchen, then I went and worked out. Only this time because he was with me I was not only able to walk the 2 miles on the tread mill but it was like I was in the best shape of my life. I wasn't breathing heavily like I did yesterday and I only did 1 1/2 mile. It was incredible and I couldn't stop from smiling because I was asking him if he was carrying me? I know that may sound weird but it's the TRUTH. Today has been an amazing day, filled with joy and laughter. I was even invited for dinner at my neighbors which I haven't seen in a long time because I was too depressed, etc. I couldn't wait to get back home just to do the next stepping stone. I love learning about the TRUTH (word of GOD) and the way Oasis has it set up makes it so easy, fun and wonderful.

I am going to continue to take things one day at a time. I now realize how important that is. I want to be able to let all that I'm learning and experiencing sink in real good because I don't want to miss anything. I've even learned how to pray more effective I mean, I still need a lot of work but hey, GOD knows and that is what's important. I thank you Lord Jesus and thank you members of Oasis from the bottom of my heart.

sister *hug*

Thank you for posting this. Made me smile really big :) Oh what a difference He makes in our lives, turning the ordinary into extraordinary, the boring into an adventure. Praise be to God.

And just think, it could be like this for us all the time, if we would only choose to allow Him into every aspect of our lives, rather than limit Him to prayer closet or church.

God bless u sleepless *hug* as you are a blessing to me and to many here already in the short time u have been here.

I echo miss deetles, God is good! *angelbounce*
