It's an awesome program. I am certain you will find some hope through it.

Also there is a new forum for sexual abuse you may find comfort in meeting some other women who have gone through what you have gone through.

There are lots of people here who I know care about you. Me :) for one. Hang in there. Give God some time to work. I know it's ruff. I'll be praying for you.

Hope to catch up to you in chat sometime.

God loves you and so do I! *hug*

Melissa, welcome to the Oasis. I read your words this morning and my heart goes out to you. I want you to know that God has not forgotten about you. He is there waiting for you. You have to make the Lord the most important one in your life. He has to be above all things and all people. Right now I know you are lonely and you miss your ex boyfriend, but know this....the Lord wants to comfort you. He wants to bring you peace. Invite Him into your life sis. Talk to Him. Tell Him what's going on, why you feel the way you do...ask Him for His help. Tell Him that you need Him. He will answer sis, but you must seek Him first and foremost. He has to be number 1. Right now, I feel that the Lord isn't first for you, and in fact maybe your boyfriend was where the Lord needs to be in your life. It's ok to have a boyfriend or a husband, but we must always remember the Lord must be 1st and then they are second. If you place it the other way around, then you will have trials that seem insurmountable. With the Lord, those trials can be easily overcome.

Praying for you sis. Come visit us in the chatroom sometime.

Take care and God Bless

melissa *hug*

Welcome to the Oasis dear sister.

When things are falling apart we sometimes question whether God really even cares, but the truth is that nothing happens without God's approval of it, even the bad things. Why would He allow you to go thru the bad things? To show you an open door that leads to Him. You are so very precious to God, and when you hurt He hurts.

Right now you have two options... you can continue to go down the path you have been for the last few years, or you can choose the path God has set before you. One opens up to glittering promises of love and hope, but will turn out to be imitations that fade away in time... and within the other lies truth, healing and eternal love that never fades way.

It is time to stop hurting and start healing sis.

I too suggest the 14 day Christian Counseling program. Take a step of faith. You have nothing to lose, but in doing this program you stand to gain so so much.

God bless you dear sister *hug* I am but a PM away if you ever want to talk :)

Love in Him

Hi melissa If it helps you feel better I feel that way sometimes too I was abused verbally and in so much other ways when I was only four. but it's such a blessing that God- no matter how much we want to deny it knows what he's doing he never stops watching over us and he loves us so much he really does and Jeremiah 29:11 is my fav. verse I have on my mirrior to keep me from thinking negatively you can read it and study it and re-assure yourself it Says ' "for I know the plans I have for you" declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" and another thing to remeber Joel Osteen said it last night on TBN is that the size of your problems is not dtermined by what you think you can handle it is determined by your future it is determined by the plans God has for you. remember Joseph he probably had no idea what God Had planned look at the goliath incident. God loves you dont consider this a message from me it's more like a message from God I couldn't sleep last night i had to get up and watch TBN God made me watch TBN last night so i could help you today, Dont worry he loves you. Love... kelly

Melissa,

Welcome to Oasis. You need a big hug. *ThisMuch* Things seem dark and hopeless right now. The world is caving in on you and you are utterly helpless to stop it. Your emotions are running high and you are about to crack under all the pressure.

Sis, you gotta take a brain-break. Sit down and pray to the Lord. Tell Him all your problems and worries. Then tell Him you give it all to Him. Pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Let Him have control of all of this. Then sit back and relax for a few hours without even thinking about the issues. Read the gospel of John, Romans, Ephesians, or the Psalms for a while.

God is working in your life, whether you realize it or not. He is with you, waiting for you to give yourself to Him in complete trust and faith.

I know this firsthand, Melissa. I was in your shoes just a few weeks ago. Thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown from all the problems. But the Lord revealed He was with me. I will share the scripture that He shared with me. I had asked Him to show me through scripture that He was with me by me opening the bible and flipping to a random book. Oh, boy did He respond!

Job 22:21 Submit to God, and you will have peace;
then things will go well for you.
22 Listen to his instructions,
and store them in your heart.
23 If you return to the Almighty, you will be restored
so clean up your life.
24 If you give up your lust for money
and throw your precious gold into the river,
25 the Almighty himself will be your treasure.
He will be your precious silver!

26 Then you will take delight in the Almighty
and look up to God.
27 You will pray to him, and he will hear you,
and you will fulfill your vows to him.
28 You will succeed in whatever you choose to do,
and light will shine on the road ahead of you.
29 If people are in trouble and you say, Help them,'
God will save them.
30 Even sinners will be rescued;
they will be rescued because your hands are pure.
