feeling gilty

Postby bonbon1 » Wed Oct 15, 2008 7:48 am

I will start this program to see if god will show me what's to come I have been feeling a little gilt for being so happy, new love in my life that god has blessed me with. I never really had that before. wow a no stress relationship. so many things I would like to do one is continuing to bring God to hurting women, they to shall overcome. now the gilt side leaving my 16 year old in cali she needs so much it breaks my heart that her dad cannot do for her the truth is am I being selfish for being happy. I was so unhappy in my marriage. I was always feeling uneasy. waiting for my x to start next argument or waiting on the next drunken epersord. I am free from him now have a great man in my life that shares my dreams am no longer living that uneasy life we will be married next year. I almost walked away from him because of feeling gilty for being happy and my kid is struggling. I didn't get to be there for homecoming dance. or her birthday. I love greengo, he welcomes my daughter if she will chose to come live with me. Thats all I have for now.

bonnie, you know sis the hardest thing to do in life is to leave a child behind. Sounds like though that you have the door open for her if she wants to go be with you. That is what you have to do, always keep that door open.

As for being happy, sis your happiness comes from the Lord. Don't try to find happiness in man alone, as you will see that man will fall short at times, and bring disappointment, Jesus never falls short. Focus on what you want you relationship with the Lord to be, and He will help you overcome the guilt and bring True Joy to your life.

I am happy you and greengo are doing so well together. May the Lord bless the marriage to come that you speak of. His will be done always.

So glad to see you beginning the steps. Great to see you are striving to work on the things you need to in your life, to be what God wants you to be.

luv ya sis

Hey Bonners!

God bless you and your love for our Lord and your family :) Am excited to see you starting CCCC... I think you will find it very helpful in working on your spiritual walk as well as with the feelings you are struggling with.

Congrats too on your growing relationship with Greengo! May it continue to bless your bond on the foundation of Christ.

Look forward to reading of your journey! Love you much, Susi *harp*

Bonnie my sis

Congratulations on your upcoming marriage *hug5*

God promises us that if we seek His will and stay on His path, put Him above all else, He will provide our needs.

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Him first and all the rest will fall into place :) He has a perfect time for all things. Trust in this.

Cherish the blessings dear sister, for all good things come from the Lord.

luv u bonnie *hug*
