It is so hard for me to share my thoughts. Last night, Lizzie helped me to see that it's just Satan holding me back, which I greatly appreciate. In the back of my mind, I guess I'm concerned about being judged or having whatever I say taken lightly. I'm sure neither will happen here, because I have already found out this is a caring community.
I've been going to counseling off and on for a year and a half, and have made a lot of progress. However, I still have a long way to go. Although she is not a Christian counselor, she is a Christian.

loveiskind, I'm so glad you are beginning to open up and share with us here. You have a fear of what people will think of you, from people judging you in your past. I'd like you to know that you are part of our family here at the Oasis, and we love you. I'm glad to see you doing these steps, and I will be praying for you as you go along. We all have gone through much in our lives, but we can't let that hold us back, we just use it as a trial and push on through, and find strength within our Lord Jesus to fight the good fight. I'm so happy you are fighting.

You need not worry at all you will not be judged here, cuz we are ALL sinners, saved by Grace. God does not want us to live in defeat, Jesus wants us to have an abundant life, to be joyful and happy. And the awesome thing is, when you have the joy that comes from the Lord, it is not dependant upon your circumstances or situation. Cuz no matter what you are goin thru, no matter how bad the storm gets, you have that peace within that He is holding your hand all the way thru it, and will lead you to the other side.

Im really happy you were led here sis, and im so proud that you have chosen to take the steps that will lead you into God's truth. God wants to see us step out in faith knowing that He will guide us and protect us and never forsake us.
