Jennifer's Journal 6th day

Postby jennifergn » Thu Aug 01, 2013 10:10 am

I made the Miracle Grow chart. I started filling in things kinda quickly, but then when I stopped to examine them, I realized they were all things that I really really wanted to do. Kinda exciting! But I'm usually of the mindset that if it's not perfect than it's not worth doing. I'll have to keep going even when I don't get 100 pts. And that won't be my goal. Just seeing how I do, working towards peace and not confusion, taking care of my spiritual life... that's my goal(s). I got 9 goals, no problem. The 10th one was kind of hard. I picked: light incense. In Japan we used to do that. Maybe I can break the sticks in half so it won't be so expensive. The smell reminds me of/motivates me toward a simpler life, one free of clutter and confusion. Well... no great spiritual writing today. I'm just glad I wrote. I'd learned that getting up early in the day to work on physical goals is good, so I got up and read this day's journal, and instead was reminded that working on spiritual goals is most important.
