step 2
So far iv learned there is a lot of weeds in me that I just have not figured out how to pull. I truly beleave this depression and anxiety has a purpose. My mind is so blank these days and my heart so weak. My soul seems almost broken and I want and have hope it will be renewed in Jesus Christ. If going through these trials can help one person then so be it. I so eagerly want to be the mom and wife I use to be. They feel like a ghost to me, they are here but I still feel alone. Making connections with the ones I love seems so impossible to do. This is not me, this is not the person I was created to be. On this journey I pray and would appriciate prayer from others that I can be me again, the me I was designed to be. I have faith. God bless everyone on there own journeys and I'm so thankful for this site.

Hey Crystal,
God has you here for a reason. You are never alone, even if you feel that way. Have you checked out the spirit of truth 7 day study? I never understood the power and friendship of the Holy Spirit, but now I do and am forever changed. Never give up, and never lose hope.

Re: step 2
Hello Crystal
As a past suferer of depression myself , ok , I am not going to say "I know how you feel" because I don't know . But I know how I felt at those times , and the longer those bouts lasted , the more of a failure I felt . But one thing I can tell you for sure ... You CAN overcome your depression , now , don't get me wrong , I am NOT saying that the depression will surely vanish , although it may one day , but rather , what I am saying is that you CAN LIVE WITH your depression , in fact , you can be a stronger person than the ones who never suffered and in turn recovered or learnt how to live WITH the depression . As you said ..."He always has a purpose" . The key is , that , first I needed to realise , that depression is NOT a fault , nor is it any more powerful than the power I give it , in other words , do battle , recognise it , name it , and repel it by shifting your thought pattern . It may , correction , it Will be difficult to do at first , but , the thing is , it can only be done by doing .... don't succomb to it ... Gos is bigger than your depression .
Keep up the good work , and your chin
Luv ya
In Christ , our Lord

Re: step 2
Hello Crystalwwjd
God bless you this day, and welcome to Christianity Oasis.
As many have stated already, many struggle with depression, and it is the pits. I'm so happy that The Lord led you here and that you have begun the CCCC Study. It, and all the many studies on this site, are Holy Spirit inspired and lean heavily on The Word of God -- Jesus, our blessed Saviour.
When I entered the doors of Christianity Oasis 6 years and 10 months ago, I too was so very depressed. And, sadly, had poorly battled depression for decades. God led me here, just as He has led you here, and this is the place where He chose to draw me closer unto Himself and to deliver me from depression -- delivering me by His Word. Jesus is my Healer!!! Hallelujah!!! Thank You Jesus.
I, and many others, will be following along with your posts, and offering up encouragement and prayers for you. I encourage you, now, to fully embrace The Truth shared in each stepping stone. The Truth -- Jesus -- will set you free.
Prayers are rising to our Lord in the name of Jesus, on your behalf. May God's blessed will be done.
God bless and keep you.
In Christ Jesus' love,
Sister Mack

Re: step 2
hi crystal!
I too was depressed and wanted to be a happier me so that I could also be a good mother and wife. When God lead me here, I didn't just learn to overcome depression but found my way back to having a close personal relationship with Father God, Savior Jesus, and if you start the Spirit of Truth, you will learn that Holy Spirit is our best friend. Like mentioned above, depression may not fully go away but we will be equipped to overcome it. May God continue to bless you and give you peace as you embark on this amazing journey.
