This forum is a sanctuary for those who are experiencing trials and tribulation and seek words of wisdom, comfort and TRUTH from fellow Christians who have experienced similar trials and tribulation and have overcome them. Never forget that we ALL fall down as we sojourn down this Christian Walk. The trick is to get up and carry on fighting the good fight of FAITH. One of the greatest gifts that our Father gave to Christians is ... Fellow Christians. James 5:16 ... Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. Day 14

Postby Debbie » Sun Jun 10, 2012 11:21 am

So I made it to Day 14, but I have a lot of reading to do yet on the lessons that were linked to the studies, and also to review. So I will do that and try to solidify the teachings in my heart before moving forward. I would like to proceed to the Called & Chosen program after that, but I notice there are little to no postings in that forum--just curious why that is. I'm off to a birthday party today, which will be a major challenge,as are all social gatherings, even with family. Would appreciate prayers. God bless all.

there are little to no postings in that forum--just curious why that is

Well , as the name implies .... Many (if not all) are called ... but , sad to see , not ALL Choose to be chosen . But , however , what side of the fence are you decidind to stand on :) .... we can choose to lead the way by starting to post ourselves , and hopefully MANY will follow .... I know I will :)

God bless , keep up the good work in fighting the good fight and finishing the race .

EXCELLENT QUESTION.

YOU do the math ...

Matthew 7:14
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Matthew 22:14
For many are called, but few are chosen.

1 Corinthians 1:26-28
For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are.

James 5:20: Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

THE answer is ... Most are TOO busy with OUR day to day:

I'm off to a birthday party today, which will be a major challenge,as are all social gatherings, even with family.

AGAIN ... Do math.

You are a clever soul.

Luv ya
Jesus is coming ... Get your soul prepared.

congrats Debbie! :)

There was many good tools available for you in this 14 day step. It's hard to pick them all up at one time so remember to review often. You could even choose a day randomly and reread it.

The Many Called Few Chosen study is another great path to take. God speaks mightily through that one as well.

God loves you and so do I! *hug*
