Yes, it is with a Christian counselor and we all attend church. My associate Pastor is aware of an issue in my marriage and has been praying with us. As soon as my wife agrees I plan on telling him all of the details in the hopes of getting more individual counseling and perhaps finding a prayer partner.

Bottom line: I am doing and will do all I can to continue my walk with the Lord. I am not sure what will happen but I am doing all I can to be faithful in the lord. I also willing to do more (counseling/retreats, etc) in order for my wife to begin the process of trusting me. I will probably do the counseling steps again as well, but this time ask her to do it as well me.

One quick thought. The Lord is clearly working in my life. While this has been devastating to her, at this point she wants to try and work it out. It is so easy to focus on the pain, as well as the potential bad that is happening and thoughts of what will happen, and miss the fact that God is moving and working already. In me, in her and in our lives. I want to rest in that for a moment and thank Him.

God bless.

The one fact that your wife is willing to work through this with you in hopes of saving your marriage shows God's power in a mighty way. I must say though that the enemy will try to make you focus on the past...but the past holds nothing...it is what's to come that is going to be so very important...eternal life with Jesus and a strong marriage that shows the glory of God in His restoration of that marriage.

Keep working through this with your wife. Also, I think doing the counseling steps with your wife is an awesome thing. I'm also wondering if you have done the Til Death Do Us Part program here at the Oasis? This is a great program for strengthening marriages. I suggest you check it out when you have time.

luv ya

Things are going well. We are together, in prayer, taking one day at a time. God is with us, helping us and guiding us. God's in control now...

God bless...
