Talking

If anybody wants to email back and forth, I love to do that. I'm a working grandmother. I've been struggling with chronic pain for several years and the resulting challenges of work/life balance. I have many, many blessings. I like to garden - something else that has to be balanced with the pain. I live in a 1980's vintage subdivision, so my lot isn't big, but I have a lot of perennials and a small vegetable garden. I'm starting plants for the garden now, first time starting my tomatoes from seed. Looks like it is working pretty well.
As a Christian, I am a pragmatic with fundamentalist leanings. I don't really want to get into discussing religious issues. I don't like disagreeing with people and I don't want to debate. I do like to find places where I agree with others and praise the Lord for that.
I have a parrot, two cats and my husband has a dog. She's a sweet dog - but I'm not really a dog person. The dog has my husband trained well - he walks her four times every day - rain, sleet, shine. She is a very spoiled little dog - but she is a sweetie. She plays fetch with the grandkids. One cat plays fetch with my husband.
So, if you want to talk - I've had struggles too. I'm trying to be more cheerful, more positive. I do count my blessing a lot.
It is amazing how I can count blessings and still want to cuss at the computer.
