Is it God?
Hi. I'm so very confused. I have married a women that is not a good mother, nor a wife. She has cheated on me repeatedly, yet I still love her. The times that I've gathered the strength to leave her, I "back out" because of the kids or God. Here's my problem: I truly and honestly believe that God is trying to tell me to divorce her. He has led me to find things out that without Him, it would have been impossible to learn so I just know it is Him. However, this goes against His word and when I ask other Christians for advice, they say God wouldn't steer me towards divorce, but I feel very strongly that He is. I know she holds me back and I fear that I will never become the person, nor the Christian that I could be if I don't divorce her...BUT WHAT IF I DIVORCE AND I WAS WRONG? I'm literally going crazy for about a year and a half over this... I desperately need resolution! Any advice would be very much appreciated!

Hello Jessm,
God bless you this day, and welcome to Christianity Oasis.
I wish I could give you definite answers regarding your marriage, but, I cannot, but God most definitely can. I will be praying for you -- lifting you up to The Lord in the name of Jesus. May God's will be made known and done.
As I read your post, a few things stood out to me: You stated that you still love her, yet you also stated that she is not a good wife, nor a good mother, which has me wonder what it is about her that you still love, and what was it about her that you fell in love with, initially? Has she changed that much, or is she really not the person you thought she was when you dated and first married? Were there signs that you dismissed? Have you changed? Are you both Born Again Christians?
I can sense your desire to do what is righteous in God's eyes. I know I have not given you any clear advice, and merely have asked many questions. I do care, and am here if you want to share more. Prayers continue.
God bless and keep you.
In Christ Jesus' love,
Sister Mack
