Is it hooked up yet? When I turn mine on to chat, I have a black screen... This is the first time I've ever used a webcam online so maybe it's something I'm doing wrong... Thanks for your help!

I finally got it to work... I honestly don't know what I did, but now it works for me... It was the first time I've ever tried, so maybe it took a few minutes to wake up... or thaw out... ROFL

It wouldn't work on anything I have... yahoo, skype, nothing... Now it works on everything! I've only had this computer about a month... *Where is excited smiley when you need him?* hehe

Thanks for anyone that was going to try to help me. I'm so happy now!!! Now to get the nerve to show myself in chat... hahaha Thank you Jesus!

If this happens to anyone else.... Make sure you don't have anything else open that will be drawing on your webcam signal. Like yahoo messenger or msn. You may be able to disable it on them, but I coudn't find anywhere to disable it on yahoo, although I wasn't using it. Even using your own webcam to look at yourself gives it the signal that it's already in use and can't be used, so close that out too. I still have issues with using it on chrome, but so far so good on internet explorer.
