Deceived

I thought I was free
But the Devil had me bound
I thought I sang God's song
But the Devil knew I was wrong
I thought I was in the light
I did not know I was blind
I thought I was alive
But then I saw I was dead
I thought I understood
In my blindness I was deceived
I was certain I knew Him
But it was not Him I knew
