How to be a gentleman
How can I best please you?
How can I make you happy?
What does it take to make you smile?
Does it take candy and flowers that woos the most soft-hearted of women?
Does it require that I become your protector, and guard you from all harm?
Or, should I become the one who is behind the scenes and on the sidelines to support you?
Is it the Chevalier you wish for, to make you feel like the lady you truly are?
Must I face the storm for your sake or will my just being there be enough?
Am I enough?

I Am Yours......use me as you see fit.
Show me that I am what you wanted.
Prove to me, that I am valuable, give me purpose.
I am here to please you, allow me to prove why my heart beats so proudly.

This is who, I am, this is why I do what I do.
This why I am what I am.....A Gentleman.

This spoke to me on a lot of different levels... and it is so timely for me, too!

In a literal sense, as a man, this spoke to me because sometimes roles can be distorted, downplayed, etc., but it is incumbent that we allow ourselves to be used to uplift a woman and appear to them as gentlemen...even if that role isn't the desired one. Good stuff!
