From Divorce to Restoration

My husband and I were married in 2001. It was no secret my husband had mood swings . They just weren't bad at the time. As time went on his mood swings grew violent and he wouldn't remember what he had done. I knew my husband had bi-polar course getting him the help was another thing. With the hard times of being a newleywed couple and on top of his mood swings it wasn't easy. I never thought this marriage would last as long as it has. My husband was also not in church at the time as well. The only time he would go would be on our anniversary when I asked him to go as a present for me. In 2007 after all the stuff had happened the straw finally broke the camel's back. I kicked my husband out and of course he came back home asking for forgiveness. I basically told him he needed to be put on meds and seek counseling and marriage counseling. He agreed. We did the marriage counseling and the counseling he started and eventually was put on medication.
In Nov. 2009 God begin to really work on my husband. He attended the Thanksgiving service that we had. God touched his heart right then. Since then my husband has been less angry and more like a real husband should be. I thank God everyday for saving this marriage. We still have our bad times yes but if we can overcome our yrs past we can overcome anything
