Mud

Postby Dora » Tue Jul 14, 2009 9:04 am

I remember mud.
cold and squishy between my toes.
I remember a big fat frog on a rock.
All I could see was his eyes peeking at me.
He blended into the color of the mud.
I'd squeel as they looked so creepy.
Then I'd try to catch them. lol
Only to squeel again if I touched one.
I remember the sound my shoes would make when I pulled them up out of the mud.
A slurping, gross sound.
As if the mud was alive and trying to devour my shoes. :P
I remember my mom, hands on her hips, lips pursed, eyes on the foot prints on her freshly washed floor.
Who'd of known the mud would have followed me home. *dunno*
I tried to clean it for her but the mud just seemed to spread around making a bigger mess.
With a sigh mom took the mop and sent me back outside.
Hmm..back outside..where I could explorer some more. :)

I would bake em in the sun. They almost always cracked

Im not very fond of mud now... unless it comes in a tube with the word 'mask' after it rofl

I do like clay tho :) we had tons of that in the dirt at the last place we lived at. You had to soak it in water for days before u could make anythin with it tho.
