chemo and me..
I am sitting here in front of the computer..2nd day,5th treatment. I have no idea what to type. I know my body is going to be screaming in 24 hours for about 3 days, anybody who has gone through it knows what I am talking about. Every cell burning, every bone aching, hair gone, nails broken, teeth bleeding, skin itching......on and on. the chemicals being pumped into my body are decadron, aloxi, benadryl,Taxol,Carboplatin,Avastin and neulasta. But in my case, the results are positive. My last scan showed "significant" improvement. So, all that 72 hours of pain is well worth it. Of course ..God gets all the glory!! He blesses the drs. with the knowledge and wisdom to make the correct choices in my treatment plan. I will continue to thank Him, praise Him and give Him the glory as long as I breath.. if your unfamiliar with my cancer you can read bout it in the partners/prayers forum there are updates there too...this is my 1st post here and I hope to post regular,I also hope to post when my mind is clearer and I can be more of an encouragment to those looking for it.
PRAISE HIM AND BE THANKFUL IN ALL

Whooo hooo Ange!!!!!
You are such an inspiration and blessing to me as I know many others here! Yes, please keep posting!
I have to tell you when I get grumbly about my thyca (thyroid cancer) follow up treatment (i.e. blood tests, pills, and scans with VERY few side effects), I remind myself of those ca survivors that have gone thru radiation and chemo and that I have it pretty good right now
Will continue to pray for you Ange, and your treatment team... God's awesome Will be Done!
Love you dearly,
Susi

Thanks for posting Ange, I know you will be an encouragement to others who are dealing with physical and mental challenges. I pray they will be an encouragement to you also.
I first chatted with you Oct 6 2008 when you came into oasis just two weeks after you lost your son to a brain tumor. Then and now, you've never denied the troubles you've faced including the cancer you're battling as you go through chemo treatments and the problems you have with your marriage and family.
In this year I've learned so much from you about overcoming grief, depression, fear, pain and everything else the world throws at us through the power of praise. I've watched as you encourage one person after another to thank the Lord and remember that they are never alone and stronger than they realize. I've watched people come into the worship room and comment on what a great life you must have because you are always praising God. Some will turn away and continue seeking sympathy but because of you many have realized that turning their focus on the graciousness and mercy of God lifts them above their circumstances and sets them free.
Thank you for being such a great encouragement for me and others everywhere you go and for being an awesome friend.
God bless ya real good,
Splashi

Hi ange
I don't know you very well, as this morning in Rise 'n' Shine was the first time I ever really met you and chatted a bit. Thank you for pointing me toward this post.
Wow...I can't imagine what you are going through. Your description makes it sound horrible. I have never known anyone with cancer, so I am clueless, I'm sorry to say.
But one thing I did notice in this post is your optimism and your praise and glory for God. In this alone, you are an inspiration to me, and I feel honored to have met you today. I hope to come to know you better in the days and weeks to come.
Thanks for sharing here and I hope that you continue to do so. I know that writing can be very healing. If you do post more, I will follow along as best I can.
May God bless you always, brother...
