Question: What great King not Jewish, of a great empire humbled himself and praised, exalted and received salvation from the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob???? What was the name of his empire? Who was he?? How did God use him to judge Israel and Judah???? What did he do to the City of Jerusalem??? What Old Testament Prophet foretells the destruction of the City of Jerusalem by this King and why?????

Re: Jesus
Greetings,
I know of one who fits that description from the Bible.
His name was Nebuchadnezzar and was king of Babylon. He was indeed used to judge Israel (2 Kings 24-25) by destroying the Temple of God in about 587 BC as well as carrying away many of the people (This can be further understood by reading the book of Daniel).
Jeremiah was given the prophecy of this event by God and the events did occur (Jeremiah 36-40) because of the Israelites continual disobedience.
But, friends and family in Christ ... It is best to always seek and remember the WHOLE Truth.
Our Father does get angry, but our Father TRULY loves us and does forgive us.
Psalm 30:5 ... For His anger endureth but a moment; in His favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
God's Mercy and Grace prevailed as He sent His SON to save us ALL from our sins.
John 3:16-17 ... For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
This GRACE is available to all who fall and call.
We need only ASK ...
Matthew 7:7 ... Ask, and it shall be given you; Seek, and ye shall find; Knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
Luv all of ya

Re: jesus
Yes CO I always liked when it was put in simple terms as
Our Father in heaven is no different than our earthly Father, when we do wrong either of our Fathers can and will be upset with us BUT it does NOT change His love no matter what it is we have done, there is nothing my children could or would do that would cause my love for them to change, just as here in this story if I say please don't.......please stop........I won't keep asking.......ENOUGH!!!!
And my kids look at me as if I hit them but it was because of thier disobedience that caused my anger and they stopped and my anger is gone.
Please know I in NO way am saying compare our earthly ways to that of the Father BUT it makes it more personal to understand.
God bless
