[Faithandlove]

Hello!

I'm fairly new to this site, but not in my walk with Christ. I got saved in '93, but I backslid. Ran for a few years, but now I'm back. My faith in God is stronger now that I have gone through some things, but I am still nowhere near perfect. There are some things that I am still struggling to overcome. And that's why I have come in to you all today to ask for prayer.

I feel like I'm in this all by myself. I have no friends (despite trying very hard to make some), no one I can talk to and no one who can relate to me on a deeply committed Christian level. The few Christians that I have tried to make friends with, are too into themselves and what they need/want to really be friends with me and I need a good strong Christian friend so badly. I believe that to have an accountablity is one of the many things that will help you/me to stay strong in the Lord and to be encouraged.

So to wrap this up, I'm asking that my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus please pray that God will send me a good strong friend in Christ to help me along this journey. Thank you.

Thats funny. As I look back, behind you, I see two sets of foot prints.
A smaller one that is yours and a much larger set, making deeper impressions, right next to yours.
As I look further back I see that sometimes there are only one set, the larger.
FaithandLove, I think you have a special friend with you that perhaps you haven't always realized?

It will be in my prayer that you will get to know your friend whom, as it appears, has carried you from time to time.
And I shall change up your prayer reguest a bit and ask of the Lord that it be His will that, YOU, will be a good, strong,
friend in Christ to those who are here and to those who are yet to come, to help them along.

I will also pray that you seek God first and seek Him early so that, you, may overcome.
